Some of you will read this blurb and not understand, but some of you will nod your head in empathetic agreement and sigh in relief that you are not alone with your crazy old dad. I have one of those dads who always reminds me that he had to walk one billion miles in the snow every day to get to school. He also claims he did this all in nothing but shorts, a t-shirt, and a sweater that his entire neighborhood took turns sharing. Someone, somewhere is exaggerating this story. It may be me, or it may be him. Either way, he instilled in me the importance of winter accessories.
