feet through too much torture. Wedges are going to have a high heel with a platform, so you've got a 4-inch platform on a 1 1/2-inch platform, it's comparable to a 2 1/2-inch heel.

Nordstrom has this red patent leather peep toe wedge 50% off regular price right now, a steal! It's a 3-inch wedge, and they've also got it in black and taupe (but in very limited sizes). This is a quiet way to wedge, maybe something low-key for your office, but the red will add a big pop of color.
Another lovely little wedge that can work for day or evening, this Candy Girl wedge is $10 off at Zappos. It's a 3 1/2-inch cork heel, with a knotted design available in four colors (in sizes 6 - 10): black, coral, sand, and silver.
I know, it's the wrong season for this kind of wedge, but it's so cute I can't help myself. I'm in southern California, so I rarely have to think about weather restrictions on my shoe choices. I have these Bowtye sandals pictured here, and also the ones in solid black. They're comfortable and adorable, and available in sizes 5.5 to 10.

UrbanOG is one of my favorite places to go for bargain on shoes, so it's a great place to hunt for good deals on new styles you're exploring. This two-tone wedge is available in sizes 6 - 10 and will have you soaring to new shoe heights.
Mod Cloth always has a great selection of quirky shoes, in all price ranges. I found these wedges that veer away from the sandal style you usually see. The cut outs and peep toe can work with or without tights, and the shoe is available in sizes 5.5 to 10. Mod Cloth does tend to sell out of shoes quite a bit, so some of those sizes might not be available for long.
